The Premier has announced that from midnight tomorrow metropolitan local government areas including Cardinia & Mitchell will return to Stage 3 restrictions.
That means there will only be 4 reasons to leave your home;
- Shopping for food and essential items;
- Medical and care-giving;
- Work or study if it cannot be done in your home;
- Exercise where it can be done within the restricted area.
Full details will be available from DHHS shortly about the restrictions.
People within the restricted metropolitan districts are not able to travel to regional Victoria.
At present our CEO Ms Tammi Rose is seeking clarification as to whether Yarra Ranges will be going to Stage 3 restrictions as well as we are classed as a metropolitan municipality.
