'GETTING STUFF DONE' - New Millgrove boardwalk 2023

Premier Jacinta Allan pledges to keep access to state parks open for recreational activities.

Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan will pledge to keep access to state parks open for recreational activities such as dog walking, dirt bike riding and gold detecting in a keynote address to the Herald Sun Bush Summit. > https://bit.ly/478Kxo

Let's wait and see. .....
Yes Ms Allan is the Premier but how will the Labor Party Caucus handle her pledge and more so the Greens.

I never have and never will support the establishment of a Great Forest National Park.
'2016 - Assessment of the Economic, Social and Environmental Impact of the Proposed Great Forest National Park to the Yarra Ranges Municipality'
"The establishment of the proposed Great Forest National Park will add negligible value to that already generated by the existing Parks and State Forest with regard to the achievement of outcomes in Council’s Health and Wellbeing Strategy and Recreation and Open Space Strategy. The establishment of the proposed Great Forest National Park will not create any additional open space nor will it add additional recreational opportunities.
The establishment of the proposed Great Forest National Park may see limitations placed on some existing recreational activities."
