Testing the Warburton Community Alert Siren - This morning, Sunday 6th January. This siren is based at the Warburton Fire Station, so depending on where you live (and the wind direction) you may hear it..or you may not.
This regular testing will occur on the first Sunday of each month.Thank you CFA District 13 Warburton Fire Brigade CFA.
Community alert sirens are used as part of Victoria’s warning system for all hazards – including flood, fire and storm. Community alert sirens are only used when there is imminent threat to the community.
Extended Siren (5 minutes) – indicates that a current emergency has been identified in the local area and people should seek further information immediately. The emergency incident will impact people in this area.
