Recycling as usual in the Yarra Ranges. ....
I urge all residents to continue recycling, following recent media reports of recycling provider SKM closure.
Why is Yarra Ranges Council recycling collection unaffected?
Visy, Council's recycling provider, is one of the largest recycling companies in Australia, and have their own markets for recycled material.

'You Can’t ask that – Disability'
I was pleased to attend Yarra Ranges Council 'You Can’t ask that – Disability' panel session last Wednesday. The session covered the questions people feel uncomfortable asking with humour and respect.
There were 50 attendees who all indicated a big shift (including myself) in their understanding of disability and the barriers to inclusion after attending the event. A big thank you to Council's Diversity & Inclusion Steering Committee. 👏👏
