Pleasure to attend the 74th Charter Luncheon of the Warburton RSL Sub-Branch. Many thanks to guest speaker Thom Baselier who gave a very informative talk of the Dutch Resistance during World War 2. Thank you Wayne Morgan (President) and members of the Warburton RSL Sub-Branch for your kind invitation.
Congratulations Walhalla. A strong digital platform across the Shires of Baw Baw and Yarra Ranges benefits us all, residents, business and tourists alike.. Like Baw Baw Shire Council, Yarra Ranges Council also thanks the Federal Government's Black Spot Program, Tony Smith MP & Russell Broadbent MP 👏👏👏. ...
I was pleased to attend Yarra Ranges Council 'You Can’t ask that – Disability' panel session last Wednesday. The session covered the questions people feel uncomfortable asking with humour and respect.
There were 50 attendees who all indicated a big shift (including myself) in their understanding of disability and the barriers to inclusion after attending the event. A big thank you to Council's Diversity & Inclusion Steering Committee. 👏👏
