80th Aniversary of the KYEEMA crash

On Saturday 28/10/18 I was very honored to attend the 80th Annavisary of the tragic loss of the DC 2 VH-UYC Kyeema with all passengers and crew - 18 lives, when at 1.43pm on Tuesday 25th October 1938 the ANA airliner bouned from Adelaide to Essendon, became lost in fog 30kms beyond its destination and crashed into the summit of Mt Dandenong...... We owe so much to the recommendations that arose from the tragedy of the Kyeema.
