Bushfire evacuation exercise

On Saturday 26th Oct residents of Powelltown, Gilderoy & Three Bridges will see an increased police presence in the area. There is no cause for alarm.
Victoria Police, Vic Emergency agencies and residents of Powelltown, Three Bridges and Gilderoy are preparing to take part in a bushfire evacuation exercise on Saturday 26 October.
On the 26th of October:
. Powelltown township will be OPEN for business as usual.
. Through traffic, not participating in the exercise will be allowed to travel through Gilderoy, Three Bridges and Powelltown.
· Local residents have been asked to register to participate in the exercise;
· This is an opportunity for the residents of Three Bridges, Gilderoy and Powelltown to practice their emergency plans.
