Melbourne Water are upgrading the Upper Yarra Reservoir dam to ensure it continues to operate at its best. This safety upgrade will apply current engineering practice, to provide for the safe ongoing operation of the dam.
The works area will encompass Upper Yarra Dam Road, Upper Yarra Reservoir Campground, day use areas, walking tracks and the reservoir embankment.
There will be a full closure of the reservoir park from June 2019 (after the Queen’s Birthday long weekend) and the park will remain closed to the public until mid-2021: https://bit.ly/2WkNZXQ
